I designed this deck to lean into Gran Torino's abilities. The following are good combos or notable ways to play the deck:
- Make judicious use of Seizing the Advantage to give speed, flip a rival foundation, and build a card. Then use Gran Torino's enhance to later pick it up and use it again. Can be useful for flipping over many cards in your opponent's stage.
- Gran Torino's response (as well as Seizing the Advantage) combo well with the top enhance on Irate Scowl
- Flustered, Irate Scowl, Air Force Flick, and Concern for a Friend are good sources of card draw to keep attack strings going.
- Shoot Style: St. Louis Smash has powerful 3, so it can be a good finisher
- Ryukyu Agency Trainees and Self-Doubt have good responses if a card gets blocked.
- Small and Limber combos well with Gran Torino's bottom enhance.

Brought to locals on 3/12/24:
- Ended up losing all 3 sets 0-2 (against Endeavor III, Toga III, and Shishiwakamaru). The games with Endeavor and Shishiwakamaru were close and I lost a couple games because of poor first turn builds. The game against Toga III was rough because of her constant Stun effects.
- While the deck did have strong moments, it felt like it was lacking something.
- This deck also struggled defensively. I think in part because I tended to have many commited foundations after attacking (from Gran Torino's response).
- Velocity Rush also ended up being a bit lack luster
